bigLITTLE wines- Big Wine from Michigan’s Little Leelanau Peninsula

Winery Website Design

As you may have noticed, we kind of have a thing for local food (see al dente pasta and simply fresh market for example…), so it was simply inevitable that we would partner with a local winery to bring their web presence to life.  Peter and Michael Laing (big and little respectively) came to us by way of a colleague of ours in Traverse City, with wine in their blood (so to speak), and a story to tell.  What more could we ask for?

working in tandem

One unique aspect of this project was that they came to us with the broad strokes of the design already in place, most specifically a series of utterly perfect illustrations by Ryan Lee, an illustrator local to the Traverse City / Leelanlau Michigan area.  His work laid down a solid foundation for their brand upon which we were able to build a website that truly captured their eclectic style and identity.

on the horizon

Not to sit still for too long, we’re already hard at work building out the eCommerce functionality of the site which will allow visitors to buy the wine directly from their website, integrating an age verification service into our existing WordPress shopping cart solution.

what they had to say

We were recommended to b/c by a good friend of ours, and we are extremely happy with our choice to parter with them on our web development project.  They worked with our existing artwork to build a user-friendly website without sacrificing the look and feel we had worked hard to achieve.  They were very responsive throughout the process and continue to exceed expectations!
