The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CFSEM) works to create positive change with far-reacthing economic and civic impact. We rebuilt their website, developed branding resources, and supported their marketing team with writing that put the spotlight on people.

 

RESTRUCTURED ARCHITECTURE
CFSEM’s old website had such poor content architecture that it was difficult for them to update. We created flexible content types to help them tell their story.

CUSTOM EVENTS PLANNER
We built an event planner to publicize events, gather information about attendees, and sell fundraising tickets, plus extra features such as a location map and organizer contact info.

HEARTFELT COMMUNICATION
The tools we developed through the events planner, blog page, and resources archive helped CFSEM share their message authentically with with donors, sponsors, and community members.

Client Spotlight: Creating an authoritative aesthetic.

The New Economy Initiative (NEI) fosters regional entrepreneurial growth in Southeast Michigan through workshops, contests, and grants. They hired us to implement a brand refresh across their new website.

EDITORIAL LOOK AND FEEL
We used NEI’s annual report on the state of entrepreneurship as a launching point for the design of the rest of the site. The result was a sleek, publication feel that was in-line with their print collateral.

BRAND IMPLEMENTATION
We worked closely with NEI’s branding team on iterations of the design to ensure our final product matched their new guidelines.
