Creating a fresh identity
It’s no surprise that DTE Energy is a giant in the energy industry, but most people are familiar with them as a utility company. When we sat down with DTE Power & Industrial Projects (a non-utility subsidiary which serves the energy needs of the private market), it was clear from the first that the challenge for the project would be to differentiate them visually from the utility business, while still embracing their identity within the DTE family of companies.
Working in close concert with DTE P&I as well as the DTE’s corporate marketing and branding department, we delivered a site that communicates DTE P&I’s impressive portfolio of energy projects and market success, while remaining true to their parent brand.
We created a filterable map of all of DTE P&I’s projects around the country. Each project has its own profile page with project details, documents, press releases, and more.
