Email Marketing Policy

Hi! You might have noticed that we have various download forms on our website that ask for your email address. If you’re as concerned about your own personal data privacy as we are, you might be wondering why.

Let us be perfectly transparent: because we want to email you.

Not a lot, just a little, as a follow up to see if you liked our marketing materials and would like to enlist our services to build you a new website, develop your brand, or direct your digital marketing campaigns. The emails we send are based on the type of content you download, and we also use some IP tracking technology to make sure we’re only sending you content that’s relevant to your needs and interests.

It’s in our best interests to make sure your best interests aren’t violated. Here’s how we do that:

  1. We work with an automated marketing platform (SharpSpring) that follows the highest data privacy standards. They have a lot more resources than we do, so even though we go to great lengths to ensure our own security, we keep your data in their system because that’s where it’s safest. We also follow strong password protocols to make sure our SharpSpring account doesn’t get hacked, because if it did, it would be bad news for our business and we don’t want that.
  2. We hate spam as much as the next person, and we don’t want to earn the reputation for being that kind of a company. So we’re not going to bombard you with hundreds of emails from now to the end of time. Instead, to control the kind of emails you get from us, we use an automated workflow that times delivery and content based on your activity and interests. If you download our Website Buyer’s Guide and spend all your time on our Custom Development and UX pages, we won’t pitch you our Marketing services. If you stop opening our emails or visiting our website, we stop emailing you. It’s as simple as that.
  3. If at any point you get an email from us and you want us to stop emailing you, there is a link in the footer of that email which will take you off our list. We don’t want to waste your time, because ultimately, that’s a waste of ours as well.
  4. Your email stays with us. The same is true of any other personally identifiable information you might share with us. We do not pass that information on to other parties.
