Aperture came to us with a long and storied history working with community colleges to improve their marketing. Over the years, their services shifted from solely print to a digital outreach as well.
They turned to us to completely revision their brand, which we rolled out with a new website and accompanying marketing support.
We knew from our past experience working with Aperture (formerly Academic Marketing Services) that they provided a vital marketing services to community colleges and the students they served.
We also knew that respecting the history of their organization while presenting their new brand would be a delicate balance, requiring nuance, attention to detail, and a bold vision. It was a challenge we were proud to take on.
ENGAGING, MOBILE-FRIENDLY DESIGN
We envisioned Aperture’s new website as a focal point for their marketing communications. That meant a clean design that would look just as good on mobile as on desktop.
Our design incorporated the new brand throughout, conveying trust and assurance from the home page to the contact form. With a warm, refreshed color palette, our design felt at place among academic websites without falling victim to the esthetic pitfalls that often leave these sites feeling cold and clinical.
CUSTOM CONTENT WITH EMAIL OUTREACH
One of the primary services Aperture provides its customers is the wealth of marketing content they can draw from to reach prospective students. As such an essential feature of their business strategy, we knew they would need original content of our their that could speak to the value of content marketing.
We worked closely with the Aperture team to create blogs, presentations, and downloadable PDFs, then designed and distributed emails to attract a wider audience.
In the past twenty years our business has weathered a sea change in the print and digital marketing world for community colleges. When it came time to create a new brand that showcased our evolving business model, build/create really took the time to dig in and develop the look, feel, and messaging that represents our new approach.

We took an organization that was split across three different brands and at least as many web domains and brought them together under one roof. The result was a sharp new image with a strong brand voice and a marketing platform to spread their message far and wide.
